Should one wonder about this remarkable name? In reality, from an olfactory standpoint, the answer would seem obvious: it is indeed the ambroxan that cries out to our nostrils. Ambroxan is usually used in base notes for its animalic power. With Le Cri de la Lumière, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato reinvents the genre by exploiting the vegetal and green facets of this powerful ingredient.
Beyond the beautiful ambroxan that stars in the fragrance, Marc-Antoine Corticchiato dared to use notes of Damascena Turkish rose and iris, pairing them in an unprecedented way with the vegetal power of ambroxan. The beautiful floral essences thus play velvety notes over an animalic note that becomes luminous. As a result, Le Cri de la Lumière offers entirely novel chypre scents, but above all very luminous ones.
The crystalline clarity of ambrette, a vegetal musk with facets of eau de vie, illuminates an iris with shimmering hints of rose. A shadow cast by these radiant notes, a subtly woody base caresses the skin, Parfum d’Empire states about Le Cri de la Lumière.
