Lattafa arranges its notes in three tiers: bergamot, ginger, clary sage, nutmeg and raspberry at the top; rooibos tea and suede at the heart; amber woods, cedar and Cashmeran at the base.

Bergamot, spices and raspberry

Bergamot brings a citrus freshness, which ginger and nutmeg warm with their spices. Clary sage adds an herbal, aromatic note, and raspberry a touch of tart red fruit.

Rooibos and suede

Rooibos, a South African plant whose leaves are brewed like a tea, brings a soft, slightly woody note. Suede, an accord evoking supple, velvety leather, gives this tier a more muffled texture.

Amber woods, cedar and Cashmeran

Amber woods, a synthetic accord, lay down a warm, dry base, and cedar adds its clean woody line. Cashmeran, a woody, musky molecule born in the laboratory, softens the whole.

What the label declares

The ingredient list declared for the European market names, after alcohol, fragrance and water, nine components subject to declaration: benzyl salicylate, linalool, limonene, citral, coumarin, geraniol, eugenol, alpha-isomethyl ionone and citronellol.
