Homme Marine

the image of a man facing the immensity of nature Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Marine is a creation that projects us to the first morning of the world, facing an as yet untouched nature. Before the splendor of the elements, man stands upright. He draws energy from contact with the surrounding landscape and lets his gaze wander to the horizon. Here, the setting is particularly aquatic.

Since 1991, the Kenzo Homme fragrance has continued to attract attention. It takes us to the first morning of the world, revealing the portrait of a man facing a calm blue sea, imbued with sun-kissed light. Exactly 30 years after its release, in 2021, Kenzo Homme returns to the forefront and transforms into a new Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense. Still woody and aquatic, it draws inspiration from the intensity of bamboo and the serenity of the sea breeze. Conceived as a saline water on skin warmed by the sun, this fragrance is meant to be particularly captivating. Just like its scent, the design of its bottle also draws inspiration from bamboo.

Bamboo as a source of inspiration for Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense

Bamboo is an undeniable source of inventiveness for this new fragrance. Moreover, its advertising campaign features Orin Hardy, founder of the Bamboo U project. His committed campaign advocates the use of newer, more natural materials, such as bamboo, to create more responsible constructions and live in full harmony with nature. Consequently, it is also bamboo that served as the basis for the design of its glass bottle. Its case sits on its side and traces the outline of a bluish bamboo stalk. It stretches lengthwise, like a bamboo stem. It nevertheless seems to hold within it the flexibility of this plant, bending slightly under the force of the wind. Flexible and sturdy at once, nothing seems able to break it. Likewise, a blue bamboo is also depicted on its cardboard box, standing out against a white background.

A bottle more mindful of the environment

In perfect alignment with the project it supports, Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense also comes in a more responsible glass bottle. For the occasion, its cap has been completely redesigned, to use 34% less plastic. More than ever, with this fragrance, the house of Kenzo works in favor of the planet. Likewise, unlike its predecessor, Kenzo Homme Eau de Toilette Intense is available in larger sizes. It comes in three different spray bottle sizes, in 40, 60, or 110 ml bottles.

The blue color, as if from the depths of the ocean

Beyond bamboo, the blue color is also a central element of its visual. It was not chosen at random. First of all, it evokes the deep waters and the highly aquatic spirit of the fragrance it contains. Note that it is also a token of fullness and serenity. Indeed, blue is the most beloved color in the world. Evoking the sky and the sea, it speaks a universal language, understood across all cultures. Blue is omnipresent here, both at the base of this bottle and on its cap. The name Kenzo, meanwhile, is inscribed at the top of this structure, on a beveled face, as if cut directly with a katana, the sword typical of samurai. Naturally, this is a nod to the Asian origins of the house of Kenzo.
