For Him Eau de Parfum appeared in 2009 in the Musc Collection by Narciso Rodriguez, a limited-edition duo it formed with the For Her intense eau de parfum. A tribute to musk, the house signature, it combines pink pepper, iris, and musk; Osmoz classifies it among woody floral musks, more floral and greener than the 2007 eau de toilette.
The published notes place pink pepper and green notes at the top, iris and floral notes in the heart, and white musks, wood, and a leathery note in the base. Osmoz ranks the fragrance among the woody scents, in the floral musky nuance.
Musk remains the axis, as throughout the For Him line: it extends the Egyptian musk oil on which the house’s fragrances are founded. Iris gives it a floral, powdery inflection, and pink pepper a spicy opening.
Osmoz describes it as more floral and greener than For Him, soft and musky, sliding toward a slightly leathery signature. The notes retained are limited to the three materials that the launch announcement also names: pink pepper, iris, and musk.
