1676 is a unisex eau de parfum created by Floris with Lock & Co. Hatters to celebrate, in 2026, the 350th anniversary of the London hatter. Presented as a crisp woody-amber, it combines neroli, lavender, carnation, iris, sandalwood, patchouli and vanilla with notes of chocolate, coffee and tobacco, and is sold exclusively at the Lock & Co. shop in St James's.

Top notes

Neroli and orange open 1676 with freshness, alongside English lavender. This citrus and aromatic opening gives the fragrance the crispness that Floris and Lock & Co. claim for this woody-amber.

Heart notes

The heart brings together carnation, iris and a creamy Australian sandalwood. Iris and sandalwood evoke, according to the house, the velvety touch of the fabrics worked by the hatters of St James's.

Base notes

In the base, patchouli, cashmere wood and vanilla bring warmth and depth. Notes of chocolate, coffee and tobacco blend in, echoing the shop's mercantile past before it became a hatter's.
