It is also, for Loris Azzaro, a way of paying tribute to his wonderful country, a land lost amid the blue waves, where the sea is ever-present. Eau Belle by Azzaro seems to hold within it all the freshness, transparency and familiar softness of the Mediterranean. Rich in emotion, it offers a luminous and refreshing journey through the creator's memories. I wanted this fragrance to tell of the flowers, the murmurs and the charm of the Mediterranean, explains Loris Azzaro. The result is a laughing, charming fragrance, as sparkling as it is invigorating. Since its release, women have adored it and use it to dream daily.
The timeless freshness of Azzaro's Eau Belle
Eau Belle by Azzaro is a fragrance that owes its existence to perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. She chose to draw inspiration from the freshness of water and its transparency. Thus, Eau Belle first launches into an explosion of citrus, combining notably Sicilian mandarin, lemon and Calabrian bergamot, as well as Japanese yuzu. Its heart, meanwhile, becomes more tender and floral. It brings together jasmine, cyclamen and freesia. Mock orange from Provence gives it a more Mediterranean touch, while the whole rests on a spicy hint of pink pepper. Finally, Eau Belle closes on a woody sillage of cedar, cypress, amber and wild rose. To evoke the languorous warmth of the Mediterranean scrubland, Azzaro also adds a touch of honey.
Azzaro's atypical bottle
Finally, Eau Belle by Azzaro is presented in a bottle unique of its kind. It is made up of three glass bubbles stacked on top of one another, forming a completely asymmetrical object. As if shaped by nature, the Eau Belle by Azzaro bottle pays tribute to the beauty of the Mediterranean shore. As a side note, it was entirely handcrafted by the Biot glassworks, according to a unique process of blowing air bubbles into the glass. Its color, meanwhile, resembles that of the sea warmed by the glow of the sun.
