Nathalie Feisthauer is a perfumer whose destiny was rather improbable. It was at age 14 that the desire to work in the world of perfumery emerged. Nathalie Feisthauer succeeded in joining the Roure school before being hired by Givaudan New York in 1990. Since 2008, Nathalie Feisthauer has worked for Symrise. Creative and intuitive, Nathalie Feisthauer likes to let her imagination run free, both in perfumery and in cooking. Every scent is, for her, a source of inspiration. The freshness of Azzaro Eau Belle
Eau Belle carries not only Mediterranean scents but also particularly fresh ones.
At once considered a citrus and aromatic fragrance, Eau Belle opens with concentrates of citrus, such as Calabrian bergamot, lemon, Sicilian mandarin and yuzu. The whole is softened by the velvety notes of peach skin. Originally from China, yuzu is a fruit whose taste sits between lemon, mandarin and orange.
Yuzu is currently cultivated in Japan, in the Tohoku region. Yuzu is used extensively in Japanese cuisine. In perfumery, yuzu essential oil is obtained through cold expression of the zest. Yuzu releases tangy, fresh, zesty and sparkling tonalities. The heart of Eau Belle then takes on white flowers thanks to the presence of mock orange, freesia, jasmine and cyclamen. Also called poet's jasmine, mock orange is one of the most fragrant trees. The name seringa comes from an old custom that consisted of hollowing out the stems' pith to make syringes. In the language of flowers, mock orange is the symbol of memory, probably thanks to its lingering scent, long remembered. In perfumery, mock orange releases very floral tonalities, close to those of jasmine.
Finally, the base is deep and woody, combining cypress, cedar, honey, amber and wild rose, offering an ultimate Mediterranean touch. As for the Eau Belle bottle, it is a bubble of happiness in itself. Made up of three drops stacked one on top of the other, this bottle displays a turquoise sea color streaked with white cascades.
