Resurrected Corpse Flower is an eau de parfum from D.S. & Durga released in 2026, as a limited edition in the Studio Juice series. David Seth Moltz conceived it after smelling a corpse flower in full bloom in Brooklyn: a green floral in which olive, grapefruit and balm of Gilead open onto Madonna lily and tuberose, over a base of bog cedar.
D.S. & Durga presents Resurrected Corpse Flower as a floral that sets dark against light: a white flower, green and earthy, rooted in damp soil and fresh woods. The house specifies that it does not seek to reproduce the real smell of the corpse flower.
Olive, balm of Gilead and grapefruit
The opening brings together grapefruit, bitter yet fresh, green olive, slightly earthy, and balm of Gilead, a balsamic resin. David Seth Moltz places here the first of these contrasts between dark and light.
Madonna lily, tuberose and freesia
Madonna lily forms the heart of the perfume. Tuberose absolute, which the perfumer describes as both floral and earthy, with a waxy texture, bridges the dark and luminous materials, while freesia brings its brightness.
Bog cedar, papyrus and green banana
The base pairs a bog cedar, woody yet damp, with a dark papyrus and a green banana. These materials give the floral its swampy depth, that of a sodden earth from which the flower is reborn.
