Rose takes on a warm turn here, between honey and wax. Peach offers a sweet, velvety nectar, and pineapple an exotic succulence. Blackcurrant cuts through with its sour, sulfurous greenness, pepper with a dry, herbaceous spice. Styrax brings leather and animalic warmth, sandalwood a velvety wood.

Base

Cedar evokes pencil shavings and resin, birch a warm, smoky leather. Patchouli adds its earthy, damp, camphorous matter. Musk retains an animalic warmth over a woody base. Ambroxan combines wood, amber and an animalic nuance. Ylang-ylang, powdery and fruity, carries a nail polish facet.

Woody family

The woody classification rests on the sandalwood in the heart and, in the base, on cedar, birch and patchouli. This family gathers raw materials drawn from woods, leaves and resins. Here one finds the resinous dryness of cedar, the smoky leather of birch, the damp earth of patchouli and the velvet of sandalwood.

What the label declares

Among the declared components are limonene and citral, molecules found in citrus essences, echoing the bergamot and lemon. Geraniol and citronellol are constituents of rose essence. Eugenol recalls clove. Linalool, hydroxycitronellal, hexyl cinnamal, farnesol and benzyl alcohol belong to floral facets.
