Garden Rain is an eau de parfum by Burberry signed by Caroline Sabas, released in 2026 in the Prorsum collection, created for the house’s 170th anniversary. Spearmint, violet and driftwood are woven with a petrichor accord, the scent of garden soil after rain. Inspired by Thomas Burberry’s garden, it sells for £175 for 50 ml in the United Kingdom.

The notes announced by the house, with no division into top, heart and base, bring together spearmint extract, a violet accord, a driftwood accord and a petrichor accord, the latter playing the role of the collection’s raker.

Spearmint brings freshness, violet a floral note that Burberry calls typically British, and driftwood a woody warmth, softened by the flower’s powdery note.

Petrichor, the smell of damp earth after a shower, recreates the garden soil in the rain. This earthy accord contrasts with the minty freshness and the softness of the violet, like the red thread in the Check pattern.
