Caroline Sabas

The perfumer's craft is vast and there are several ways to practice it. Indeed, while some creators prefer to remain independent, others collaborate with world-renowned brands or groups. They then have the possibility of being chosen as the exclusive nose for a house or of working for a fragrance company such as IFF, Symrise or Givaudan. This is precisely what perfumer Caroline Sabas chose to do.

Caroline Sabas is a highly renowned perfume creator who tries to remain particularly discreet about her personal life and career path. She has left very little information about her background. However, it was within the Givaudan company that she chose to settle. It must be said that this group enjoys an absolutely exceptional reputation. Givaudan is a Swiss manufacturer of fragrances, flavors and active cosmetic ingredients. This company was founded in 1895 and therefore benefits from an exceptional reputation and a heritage rich in expertise. Today, Givaudan is the largest company in the perfume industry. It alone holds 25% of the market share of an industry estimated at around 17 billion Swiss francs. As such, Givaudan ranks among the top 30 stock market values in Switzerland. By choosing to work for this company, Caroline Sabas gave herself an absolutely immense range of possibilities. Indeed, almost every perfume brand has already used Givaudan's services. Working as a senior perfumer for the company, Caroline Sabas was thus able to collaborate with the greatest luxury houses. Here is a quick overview of her creations.

Caroline Sabas is a fairly young perfumer whose career is still relatively recent. Yet she already seems to be opening up a very promising future, judging by the number of creations already bearing her name. It all began with the creation of the Charles Jourdan fragrance, in 2004. Then came the Miami Glow fragrance, in 2005, for Jennifer Lopez's brand. This was instantly convincing and allowed Caroline Sabas to work, in 2006, for Britney Spears's brand, as well as for Sean John, Fresh, and Shania Twain. One might think Caroline Sabas had become the official perfumer for American singers' brands. She also worked for Rihanna, in 2010 and in 2012, creating the Rebelle fragrances. Since her beginnings in perfumery, Caroline Sabas has nonetheless explored other paths. She has notably collaborated with the creative houses Avon, Badgley Mischka, Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden, Etat Libre d'Orange, Natori and Nicole Miller.
