Boss Pure
A masculine Eau de Toilette by Laurent Le Guernec released in 2008, Boss Pure unfolds a citrus opening of fig, lemon, mandarin and grapefruit, softened by hyacinth and lily of the valley, before amber woods in the base.

Where to buy
Many perfumes draw on one of the four elements of our planet, namely water, fire, earth and air. Nevertheless, it is clear that men are particularly fond of the aquatic realm. Moreover, water is the element that covers the largest surface on our planet. It is also essential to our survival. It was therefore from water that the house of Hugo Boss drew inspiration to create its fragrance Boss Pure.
Hugo Boss draws inspiration from water as a source of energy
Water is by far one of the purest ingredients available to us. This is no doubt where man's fascination with it comes from. Water alone encompasses multiple facets. It can be at once tender and limpid, powerful and virile, soft or salty. Hugo Boss thus seems to have made it its own, turning it into a fragrance synonymous with energy and success. Boss Pure is a subtle and authentic juice. It draws its strength from nature, as if to better deliver it to the man who wears this fragrance. Boss Pure evokes a fiery torrent as much as still water or a giant waterfall. It encourages men to recharge at the heart of nature and to draw a striking freshness from it. Thus, the man who wears Boss Pure appears more self-assured. He carries himself through life with more serenity, confidence and control. As a result, he can better achieve his goals and sees the future in a more radiant light.
The intense, green freshness of Boss Pure
Boss Pure is a fragrance owed to perfumer Laurent Le Guernec. It rests on a highly invigorating aquatic accord. It opens with a fresh, crystalline pairing of white fig and lemon. The result is thus immediately bracing. Then, Boss Pure conceals at its heart an enormous floral bouquet. This rests on the elegance of hyacinth and the delicacy of lily of the valley. Boss Pure thus carries a very green, almost androgynous quality. However, this effect is short-lived, and Boss Pure is soon overtaken again by a woodier, more sensual and powerful base. This contains damp oakmoss paired with massoia wood. The result becomes particularly seductive and thoroughly addictive. This fragrance is then held in a bottle that is likewise very minimalist. It has sharp edges and cubic lines. The whole displays a very urban, stylized, fully transparent design. Its polished glass reveals a sky-blue juice resembling limpid water. Moreover, Boss Pure thus instantly conveys a sensation of extreme freshness akin to that of a frosted waterfall.
