Angel Muse by Mugler, released as an Eau de Toilette by Thierry Mugler, is an atypical character who likes to surprise consumers. At first, he made a name for himself through his highly innovative creations in the world of fashion.
Angel, a cult perfume of modern perfumery, marked the beginnings of the Thierry Mugler house in perfumery as the continuation of the fragrant stories of the 21st century. Now a renowned perfumer, Thierry Mugler has known how to evolve gourmand character without ever forgetting the modernity of his era. Angel Muse brings its futuristic touch to gourmand character by daring to blend sweet and woody, and Angel Muse Eau de Toilette carries on this legacy with fruity declarations of independence!
Angel Muse Eau de Toilette, the new woody gourmand addiction signed Thierry Mugler
How does one keep reinventing oneself after achieving the feat of creating, with one’s very first perfume, the fragrance that revolutionized modern perfumery? Such was the challenge facing Thierry Mugler, and Olivier Cresp as well, after the release of Angel and its dazzling success. A success so great that it became the first gourmand perfume in history and, even after several decades, remains a model of the genre. The challenge was set, and Thierry Mugler rose to it with flying colors, through original and unprecedented variations of the star bottle, of course, but also through other fragrances such as Alien. This has not stopped gourmand character from remaining the house’s specialty!
With Angel Muse in 2016, the designer once again demonstrated, alongside creative perfumer Quentin Bisch, that Angel’s gourmand character knows how to evolve and modernize with the passage of time and olfactory discoveries. Better still, with Angel Muse he offers a gourmand character far less sweet than the house’s star bottle, and stands out with hazelnut-vetiver accords that are, once again, entirely innovative.
Only a year after Angel Muse, we had the pleasure of discovering, in January 2018, its lovely and fruity successor, Angel Muse Eau de Toilette. This time, the composition becomes even more sparkling and plays on its triple structure to captivate us between passion fruit and intoxicating woody accords.
So sweet!

When the hazelnut-vetiver accord meets passion fruit, Angel Muse Eau de Toilette explodes!
Curiously, we do not yet know the name of the perfumer who composed Angel Muse Eau de Toilette. Nevertheless, one might easily assume that, after the dazzling success of the first opus, Thierry Mugler once again turned to Quentin Bisch to reinterpret the gourmand-woody accords of Angel Muse Eau de Toilette.
Angel Muse Eau de Toilette aims to be playful and sparkling, and does not hesitate to use its predecessor’s tangy, tonic accords to boost its intensity right from the top notes. Then, at the heart, we discover the exotic and intoxicating novelty of this bottle: passion fruit. Still very little used in perfumery, exotic fruits bring to this Angel Muse Eau de Toilette the flash of innovation that signs every Mugler perfume. These lovely sun-kissed fruits frame, at the heart, the now-famous hazelnut note. Finally, we discover intense depths where vetiver and akigalawood play with their strength and power to wrap us in a bath of sensuality.
A joyful, tender and gourmand eau de toilette that reinterprets its predecessor’s hazelnut cream-vetiver duo with a new fruity facet, for a result that is entirely soft and subtle. Thierry Mugler for Angel Muse Eau de Toilette.
