Mirto di Panarea La Riserva

Mirto di Panarea La Riserva is the eau de parfum released in 2025 from Mirto di Panarea, another revisit of Blu Mediterraneo. The house classes it as an aromatic citrus: citron, sage and juniper berries in the opening, myrtle, lavender and myrrh at the heart, patchouli, labdanum and mastic in the base, at the end of two months of maceration.

Citron, sage, juniper berries

The opening rests on citron essence, a citrus with thick, barely juicy peel, whose scent leans toward bitter zest. Sage adds its camphorous green, juniper berries a resinous, peppery touch.

Myrtle, lavender, myrrh

The heart returns to myrtle, a Mediterranean shrub halfway between eucalyptus and laurel, which lavender extends with aromatic freshness. Myrrh absolute slips in a bitter, balsamic resin.

Patchouli, labdanum, mastic

The base rests on three dark materials: a fraction of patchouli, stripped of its camphorous facet, labdanum absolute, leathery and ambery, and mastic absolute, a maquis resin close to mastic.

What the label declares

Ten entries make up the list. Eugenol, with its clove scent, and coumarin, with its hay scent, do not appear in the composition the house publishes.

Limonene, linalool, citronellol, citral and geraniol come from the citron and the herbs. The formula carries neither colorant nor sunscreen filter.
