The language of the orchid

Every flower, but the orchid above all, has a particular relationship with emotions, seduction, sensuality, but also fertilization. The orchid in perfumery

The orchid is highly prized by perfumers for the many scents it offers. The orchid brings a delicate and suave floral touch. The orchid can thus be found in great, ultra-feminine perfumes, such as Alien Sunessence, édition or d’ambre by Thierry Mugler. Here, the orchid is positioned as a heart note, alongside sun-kissed notes. The orchid can also be found in floral-fruity essences such as Amor Amor Sunshine, by Cacharel. Here too, the orchid sits in the heart note, accompanied by tiare flower and peony. The orchid can also be discovered in oriental perfumes such as Ange ou Démon, the ultra-mysterious fragrance by Givenchy. Furthermore, some perfumers have paid great tribute to the orchid by showcasing it, such as Tom Ford, with Black Orchid, an ultra-luxurious feminine essence. The orchid can also be found within unisex fragrances, such as in CK Be by Calvin Klein, where the orchid is paired with jasmine and freesia.
