Vol de Nuit is the fragrance Jacques Guerlain composed in 1933 as a tribute to the pioneers of aviation, after Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s novel published two years earlier. The house classifies it as an amber chypre: green galbanum and citrus in the opening, jonquil and jasmine at the heart, a base of moss, sandalwood, iris and vanilla.
