Silver Mountain Water

Opening on a fresh accord of citrus, blackcurrant and galbanum, the base brings together musk and sandalwood, with woody, warm tones. Created by Olivier Creed for the house of Creed in 1995, the Eau de Parfum Silver Mountain Water places green tea, tea and ozone at its heart. The composition belongs to the aromatic family and carries a green facet.

Top notes

Bergamot opens on a fresh, sweet fruit, while orange brings a sweet acidity. Blackcurrant delivers a sharp, sulfurous greenness, and galbanum an anise-like liveliness. Mandarin adds sparkle and sun-kissed brightness. Neroli, a tart flower, recalls bergamot.

Heart notes

Three notes make up this tier: green tea, tea and ozone. Tea brings a green freshness and an infused character. Ozone evokes an aquatic sensation, clean and fresh, like crisp air.

Base notes

Musk and sandalwood form the base. Musk combines wood and warmth with an animalic touch. Sandalwood, a wood long used in perfumery, offers a velvety, warm character.

Aromatic and green family

The aromatic family generally brings together lively, herbaceous or spicy notes, often fresh. Here, galbanum, tea and ozone carry it. The green facet, which evokes crushed leaves and stems, comes from blackcurrant, galbanum and tea.

What the label declares

The INCI list declares limonene, citral and linalool, common constituents of citrus essences such as bergamot or orange. It also contains geraniol and citronellol, associated with rose, coumarin with hints of hay, and alpha-isomethyl ionone, with a violet odor. UV filters and BHT, an antioxidant, are also added.
