Oud Voyager, by Tom Ford, released in 2025, opens on rosy geranium, spicy pink pepper, and fresh, tangy citrus. The spicy heart of cardamom and leathery saffron sits alongside tender peony, while the base brings together woody vetiver, musk, and patchouli.
Geranium, rosy and soft, occupies the top with pink pepper, spicy and equally soft; citrus, fresh and tangy, holds a distinct register there, that of tartness against the floral and spicy sweetness.
Cardamom and saffron, both spicy, share the heart; saffron alone is leathery and tarry there, while peony, tender and rosy, recalls lily of the valley and morning dew.
Woody, smoky vetiver sits at the base alongside musk, woody and animalic, and patchouli, earthy and camphoraceous close to a wine cork; wood links vetiver to musk, while patchouli shares no descriptor with them.
