Every year since 1994, the house of Lalique has raised the art of the bottle to the height of creativity. This prestigious 2011 Collection Bottle, produced in a Limited, Numbered, and Signed edition, draws inspiration both from the work of René Lalique and from a modernity that has managed to preserve the finest techniques of a noble craft.

The embodiment of ephemeral beauty, the butterfly never ceased to fascinate René Lalique. From the Art Nouveau period onward, these fragile and elegant creatures adorned jewelry, vases, bowls, and many other sublime objects.

Today, it is a cloud of butterflies, ranging from poppy red to fuchsia, that alights on the nectar of Parfum Lalique by Lalique, as though irresistibly drawn by its floral and refined sillage. A poetry in motion, fragile and luxurious: Envol.

Capricious, crystal does not bend to every wish. With its sharp and uneven relief, the bottle demands the exceptional expertise of the Master Glassmakers for its demolding. Once the crystal is hand-gathered, each sphere is mouth-blown, then polished with unmatched finesse. As for the cap, it is pressed by hand, and a final annealing stage reveals this very particular red. From opaque carmine to translucent fuchsia, the intensity of the color varies according to the thickness of the crystal and the light passing through it. A refinement that can be seen even in the wings in motion, delicately hemmed. Traditionally wrapped in parchment and adorned with a gold thread, this Collection Bottle is housed in a new box decorated with embossed butterflies, worthy of a Haute Joaillerie case.

As every year since the creation of this collection of crystal bottles, the 2011 edition holds the exquisite Parfum Lalique by Lalique, a floral and musky bouquet created in 1992. A profusion of velvety petals that radiate from the very first moment. An armful of rose, jasmine, wallflower and iris that wraps the skin in a singular elegance. Then the sillage settles into a subtly fruity tempo. Wild blackberry, juicy pear and blackcurrant leaves offer a sparkling and joyful echo in the heart. Finally, the score of white musks distills its enveloping melody alongside irresistible vanilla and Mysore sandalwood. A concentrate of noble materials, still as relevant as ever, that continues to attract seductresses in love with distinguished fragrances.
