La Belle

Feminine fragrance La Belle Jean Paul Gaultier The perfumery division of Jean-Paul Gaultier was acquired by the Spanish group PUIG in 2016.

Jean-Paul Gaultier is world-famous for his outspokenness, his playfulness, his sailor stripes, but also his duo of fragrances Le Classique and Le Mâle. True icons of perfumery, they appeared in the 1990s. More recently, however, the designer decided to reinterpret them in new editions, giving rise to a new scented couple. On the women's side, his creation is now called La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Directly inspired by the Garden of Eden, it takes on an unexpected provocative edge. So how does this new exotic and torrid fragrance fare? Here is our review of it.

La Belle, symbol of a confident and smooth femininity

La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier is a new derivative of the traditional Classique from 1993. Given its renown, it took real boldness to dare succeed it! Obviously, this juice presents itself as more modern than its predecessor. It is also more exotic and tropical. As proof, its advertisement transports us directly to the heart of a Garden of Eden, a true tropical paradise. The models pose nude, their attributes simply covered with flowers and leaves. As they hold the bottle of La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier in their hands, this fragrance immediately appears as a true forbidden fruit, as tempting as it is irresistible. The message is promising. It is an invitation to discovery…

La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier, a comforting and warm vanilla

La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier is a fragrance as sultry as it is carnal. To awaken women's taste buds, it showcases vanilla, a true delight, ideally designed to make gourmand hearts swoon. Oriental and fresh, this raw material is accompanied by other, woodier notes. A juicy, fruity pear also sharpens our appetite, while amplifying the juicy, green side of this feminine scent. Vetiver adds more character to this fragrance. More than ever, the woman who wears this fragrance asserts her power of seduction!

The sculptural bottle by Jean-Paul Gaultier

Finally, another very important point of this fragrance: its bottle. It takes the shape of a female bust, whose silhouette does not go unnoticed. Naturally, it draws inspiration from the very first bottle of Le Classique by Jean-Paul Gaultier, while displaying its own personality. It is now dressed in a red hue, more tempting, a symbol of passion and the forbidden. Its feminine curves, meanwhile, are even more pronounced than before. Indeed, its bust is more voluptuous, while its slender waist is also more defined. At the neck, La Belle by Jean-Paul Gaultier also wears an elegant, quite imposing necklace. More than ever, this fragrance shines brightly. However, in a spirit that remains always offbeat, it comes in a tin can signed Gaultier. The setting changes but the designer's signature touch is still very much present, to our great delight!
