Boss Bottled Beyond Eau de Toilette Intense

Boss Bottled Beyond Eau de Toilette Intense is Hugo Boss’s first floral-leather fragrance for men, launched in 2026 in the Bottled Beyond line. Daphné Bugey, Frank Voelkl and Bruno Jovanovic, who created the eau de parfum, set a luminous orange blossom absolute against a warm, textured leather, in a refillable metallized glass bottle.

Hugo Boss describes a floral leather built on two materials: an orange blossom absolute, bright and lively, and a warm, textured leather that gives it depth. The house sees in it a daring freshness paired with a carnal sensuality.

Orange blossom and leather

The notes are arranged here as follows: orange blossom in the top notes; leather in the heart. For this leather, the house speaks of a blend of leathers and names no other note for this version.

Trucs de Mec, in its review, smells the orange blossom from the opening to the drydown and extends the leather accord into the base, where it perceives a smokier orange blossom. This is one nose’s reading, which the house does not detail.

The house declares a formula of 80% denatured alcohol to 20% fragrance. Michael Adams cites this 20% figure to set this eau de toilette intense apart from others.

What the label declares

The list opens with alcohol, fragrance and water, ahead of tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, a synthetic woody and amber molecule. It also lists bergamot and lemon peel oils, linalyl acetate and a bitter orange peel oil.

Further down come a bitter orange flower oil, true to the announced note, oils of lavender, geranium, patchouli and peppermint, menthol, acetyl cedrene with its woody accents, coumarin and vanillin.

The formula also contains two UV filters, ethylhexyl salicylate and butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a violet colorant and the allergens that must be declared, including limonene, linalool, hydroxycitronellal and alpha-isomethyl ionone.
