In 2022 Narciso Rodriguez added a Parfum version to For Him Bleu Noir, darker and more intense than the eau de toilette and the eau de parfum. Musk, the house signature, remains the pivot; suede leather, powdery iris and tonka bean surround it, over an opening of bergamot, mandarin and cypress. The house presents it as a warm, oriental, addictive fragrance.
Italian bergamot and mandarin open the composition, bound to cypress, woody and aromatic, for a freshness the house sets against the enveloping musk. Musk holds the heart with blue cedar, cardamom and powdery iris, which lends it a refined elegance.
The base brings together suede leather accords, warm sandalwood and earthy vetiver, under a sweet trail of tonka bean. The house sums up the formula in five notes: bergamot, iris, heart of musk, tonka bean and suede leather.
