Rabanne Calandre

Calandre is a particularly striking fragrance, rich in symbolism. Indeed, while the house of Paco Rabanne is now highly renowned in the field of perfumery, one might not know that it has been creating fragrances since 1969.

Aldehydes, evoking candle wax, and sweet bergamot occupy the top: wax on one side, citrus freshness on the other.

Rose, warm and honeyed, lily of the valley, green and fresh, and hyacinth, floral and green, share the heart, the greenness of the lily of the valley and hyacinth contrasting with the warmth of the rose.

Oakmoss, earthy and damp, vetiver, woody and smoky, and iris, powdery and buttery, make up the base: the oakmoss recovers the dampness that vetiver also evokes.
