Havana Tonka

A Byredo extrait de parfum, Havana Tonka joins Night Veils in 2026, the collection the house devotes to the night. The house builds it around roasted tonka bean: bergamot, rum, pink pepper and a touch of crème brûlée in the top, tobacco leaf, violet, cashmere wood and white suede in the heart, tonka bean, patchouli, benzoin and skin musks in the base.

The house describes three tiers: bergamot, rum, pink pepper and crème brûlée in the top, tobacco leaf, violet, cashmere wood and white suede in the heart, roasted tonka bean, patchouli, benzoin and skin musks in the base.

From rum to tobacco

Rum and pink pepper warm the bergamot from the opening, and crème brûlée lays a caramelized note over it. Tobacco leaf brings a dry, smoky depth, which violet and the suppleness of suede come to soften.

A base of roasted tonka

Cashmere wood carries this warm, velvety sensation toward a denser base. There the tonka bean shows itself roasted, sweet and slightly resinous, patchouli brings an earthy depth, benzoin a balsamic note, and the musks keep the fragrance close to the skin.
