Signed by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, this woody spicy fragrance pairs cardamom, turmeric and akigalawood with olibanum and orris butter, over a base of sandalwood, cedar and oak softened by amber and vanilla. In a February 2025 review, the author sums up Bois Pacifique in one word, subtlety, rare for a brand known for its powerful fragrances. He smells a cardamom that is green at first, soon warm and spicy, seeping into the grain of the woods without falling into the sporty cliché.
Iris, in his view, forms a barely perceptible powdery filter that smooths the whole. The trio of sandalwood, cedar and oak makes a silky wood, close to Gucci Pour Homme and to Papyrus Oud by Parle Moi de Parfum, without being a new idea.
He finds it very well built but discreet: a skin scent for quiet days at home, not recommended for anyone who wants a pronounced sillage, whom he would rather steer toward Noir or Ombré Leather.
