Elemi, fresh and lemony, sits alongside cinnamon, bark-like and warm, and plum, velvety and syrupy, at the heart. The pepper of the elemi meets that of the cinnamon; the plum holds its syrupy side.

Benzoin, vanillic and honeyed, patchouli, earthy and camphorous, and vanilla, sweet and sensual, share the base. The vanillic quality of the benzoin echoes the vanilla itself; the patchouli remains earthy.
