Arancia di Capri La Riserva is the eau de parfum drawn in 2025 from Arancia di Capri, in Blu Mediterraneo. The house presents it as an aromatic citrus: Italian blood orange, mandarin and bitter orange petitgrain at the opening, rosemary and basil over a salty mineral accord, cedarwood and a suede accord in the base.
Blood orange, mandarin, bitter orange petitgrain
The opening rests on three essences the house calls Italian. Blood orange gives a darker acidity than sweet orange, mandarin softens it, and bitter orange petitgrain brings the green bitterness of the bitter orange leaf.
Rosemary, basil, salty mineral accord
The heart moves to herbs: camphorous rosemary, anisic Italian basil. Acqua di Parma lifts them with an accord it describes as salty and mineral, the wet stone and sea spray it associates with the coasts of Capri.
Cedarwood and suede accord
The base combines cedarwood essence, dry and pencil-shaving-like, with a suede accord the house wants soft and enveloping. Ambrettolide, a macrocyclic musk, sustains the persistence without making itself heard.
What the label declares
The list holds ten entries. Coumarin, a hay-like odor, and alpha-isomethyl ionone, a powdery violet, appear in neither one nor the other of the composition announced by the house.
Limonene, linalool, citral, citronellol and geraniol come from the citrus essences and the herbs. No colorant or UV filter completes the formula.
