Whipped cream

Whipped cream does not exist as a natural raw material in perfumery. It is an entirely recomposed note, built by the perfumer from a blend of materials evoking the texture and smell of milk cream whipped into foam. This note belongs fully to the gourmand family, an olfactory family born from pastry and culinary inspiration.

The intended olfactory profile combines a soft milky base, a light sweet facet and an airy impression that recalls the lightness of foam. Vanilla-like notes often support the whole, bringing a gentle warmth and roundness that reinforce the evocation of pastry cream or freshly whipped chantilly.

In composition, whipped cream is used in sweet gourmand accords, powdery florals and dessert-styled fragrances. It brings a sensation of enveloping sweetness and olfactory comfort, often paired with notes of vanilla, soft musks or slightly sweet white flowers to create rounded, soothing compositions.
