Cinnamon opens on a woody, spicy bark. Lavender brings a floral freshness lifted by a camphoraceous accent. Apple slips in a sweet, almost gourmand fruitiness, while rosewood combines a rosy floral facet with a woody base.

Heart

At this tier, rose takes on a warm, honeyed, waxy turn. Cedar draws a dry wood reminiscent of pencil shavings, with a resinous edge. Lily of the valley adds its greenness and a fresh note to the floral whole.

Base

Oud combines wood, incense and an animalic facet. Vanilla diffuses its sweet warmth with spicy nuances. Musk brings an animalic and woody tone, and sandalwood closes the accord on a velvety, warm wood.

Oriental family

Belonging to the oriental family, Alexandria II bears its marks through its sweet vanilla, its oud with incense accents, spicy cinnamon and warm musk. This family willingly brings together amber materials, spices and precious woods to form a dense, enveloping base.

Wood and spices on the label

The list declares vanillin, a key molecule of the vanilla aroma, and coumarin with tones of hay and tonka bean. Cinnamal recalls cinnamon, santalol is a constituent of sandalwood, and tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes give an amber woody note.

Flowers declared on the label

Linalool, linalyl acetate and camphor are among the typical components of lavender essence, also declared. Geraniol and geranyl acetate belong to the rose register, hydroxycitronellal evokes lily of the valley, and sclareol, extracted from clary sage, has an amber facet.
