Buttercream Haze is a gourmand eau de parfum from The 7 Virtues, launched in the fall of 2025 exclusively at Sephora. The Canadian house describes it as a vanilla so gourmand you would think it good enough to eat: buttercream icing, maple caramel crème and whipped vanilla melt into tonka bean.
The launch press release divides Buttercream Haze into three stages. Lemon zest, buttercream icing and a touch of rum open it; maple crème and toasted caramel form its heart; the base pairs whipped vanilla with creamy sandalwood and cashmere musk.
On the Sephora page, the house narrows it down to the vanilla icing, the maple caramel crème and the tonka bean, into which the whipped vanilla melts.
A warm gourmand
Sephora places the fragrance among warm and spicy scents, on the side of sweet gourmands. ÇaFleurBon also mentions cosmos petals and a fluffy cake accord, and its reviewer detects a popcorn note that the list does not name.
What the label declares
The list published at Sephora opens with denatured alcohol, fragrance and water. It declares lemon, bitter orange and bergamot peel oils, patchouli oil and vanillin, along with regulated allergens: limonene, coumarin, linalool, citral, benzyl benzoate and farnesol.
