Oud Wood Parfum was released by Tom Ford in 2024. Cardamom, pepper and rosemary animate the top; sandalwood, oud and patchouli make up the heart; vanilla, tonka bean and amber occupy the base.
Cardamom, spicy and fresh, occupies the top with pepper, dry and herbaceous, and rosemary, aromatic and thyme-like: the spice of the cardamom contrasts with the dryness of the pepper.
Sandalwood, woody and velvety, blends with oud, incense-like and animalic, and patchouli, earthy and damp: three woody and earthy materials echo each other in the heart.
Vanilla, sweet and warm, joins tonka bean, toasted and almond-like, and amber, camphorous and animalic, in the base. The warmth of the vanilla sits alongside the animalic note of the amber.
