The house names three tiers: bergamot and mandarin blossom in the top, ylang-ylang oil and frangipani in the heart, tonka bean absolute and salted musk in the base. Apart from ylang-ylang oil and tonka bean absolute, these are accords.

From bergamot to salted musk

Bright bergamot and delicate mandarin blossom open the fragrance and evoke the soft glow of morning. At the center, ylang-ylang oil and a creamy frangipani accord bring an airy, almost tropical floral touch.

The base brings together tonka bean absolute and a salted musk accord, which add warmth and tranquility. The house places Cashmere Muse among the floral musky fragrances.

What the label declares

Alcohol denat., fragrance and water open the list, before benzyl salicylate, tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, an ambery wood, ethylhexyl salicylate, a UV filter, and hexamethylindanopyran, a synthetic musk. Vanillin, linalool, linalyl acetate and citronellol come before butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, a second UV filter, lemon peel oil and limonene.

Hexyl cinnamal, acetyl cedrene, coumarin, pinene and benzyl alcohol come before geranyl acetate, amyl salicylate and patchouli oil. Cananga and jasmine oil or extract, geraniol, citral and rose ketones appear further down.

Alpha-terpinene, benzyl benzoate, terpineol, benzaldehyde and terpinolene come before three colorants that close the list: external violet 2 (CI 60730), red 4 (CI 14700) and yellow 5 (CI 19140).
