Lavs Xxv is a mixed composition by Filippo Sorcinelli, announced for 2026 to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of Lavs, which the house calls “the incense of incenses”. The announced notes bring together white pepper, wool, Palo Santo, caraway, incense, copal, guaiac wood, opoponax and oak. The concentration, size and release date remain unknown.
Top notes
At the top, white pepper joins wool and Palo Santo. Lavs, Filippo Sorcinelli's original extrait de parfum, opens on these materials, which Lavs Xxv carries over in the accord announced for its new version.
Heart notes
Caraway, incense and copal form the heart. Lavs combines these materials and specifies an incense described as cardinal, a qualifier absent from the notes announced for Lavs Xxv, where incense is named without any specification of origin or quality.
Base notes
The base brings together guaiac wood, opoponax and oak. Lavs adds an incense resin to it, absent from the notes announced for Lavs Xxv; the base of the new version thus rests on woods and opoponax resin.
