Where to buy
LAVS bears the name of Filippo Sorcinelli’s workshop, the Laboratorio Arte Vesti Sacre, located in Santarcangelo di Romagna. For twenty-five years he has made liturgical vestments there, notably for Benedict XVI, Francis and Leo XIV.
The house recounts that the scent originally accompanied the workshop’s objects when they were shipped. Recipients came to recognize this olfactory signature and asked for it to exist on its own: LAVS thus became Filippo Sorcinelli’s first fragrance.
The 2026 version arrives twenty-five years after the workshop’s beginnings. The house recalls that photography, painting, music and performance were added to tailoring, with fragrance becoming an artistic language for Filippo Sorcinelli.
What is still missing
The concentration, olfactory family, target, price and size of this new version remain unknown. No page of the house devoted to LAVS could be read to date, and the difference from the original version is not described.
