Composition

Incense opening

At the top, incense gives a resinous entrance. This gum, burned since Antiquity in rituals, carries nuances of camphor, an almost medicinal freshness, as well as a waxy aspect and a touch of spice. It brings a dry, aromatic tonality to the opening.

A confectionery heart

The heart brings together vanilla, sweet, spicy and warm; marshmallow, all softness and sugar with vanilla-tinged reflections; peach, sweet, velvety, with a nectar-like taste. Sandalwood adds its velvety, warm wood, and jasmine a warm, sweet flower with a wild temperament.

Musky base

Musk forms the base. Here it takes on a woody, warm face, with an animalic facet recalling the historical use of civet-deer musks, now replaced by synthetic molecules. Its materials, low in volatility, form the base on which the sweeter notes rest.

Gourmand family

The gourmand register draws on the vocabulary of pastry and confectionery. Here, vanilla and marshmallow carry it through their sweetness, peach through its fruity nectar; sandalwood and musk give it a warm, woody foundation.

Reading the label

Among the declared odorant components are limonene, with a citrus scent, linalool, floral and slightly woody, citral, with a lemon scent, and benzyl benzoate, mildly balsamic and often associated with floral absolutes such as jasmine. Their presence does not indicate their dosage.
