Amber with an aromatic facet running through it, Oud Zarian pairs olibanum, incense, and ginger in the top notes with a base of myrrh, tonka bean, sandalwood, and oud, rose occupying the heart tier. Creed launched it in 2025 as an Eau de Parfum, with an accord in which balsamic resins and woods converse with camphoraceous and sugary touches.

Resinous top

Olibanum, another name for the incense resin drawn from boswellia, expresses itself here as wood, mineral, and spice, while incense brings camphor and wax. Ginger combines spicy warmth with citrus brightness; bergamot, fruity and fresh, keeps a sugary edge.

Rose heart

Centifolia rose, also called rose de mai, takes shape as powder, sweetness, and green notes. A second rose turns warm, honeyed, and waxy. A woody note rounds out the heart tier, described as soft and creamy.

Balsamic base

Patchouli, earthy and damp, keeps a camphoraceous accent; sandalwood turns velvety and warm. Myrrh offers a sugary balm, licorice brings woody and sugary spice, tonka bean brings a toasted almond and caramel facet. Oud, woody and animalic, echoes incense.

Amber and aromatic

The amber family here rests on myrrh, tonka bean, and incense and olibanum resins, which give the base its balsamic, sugary warmth. The aromatic facet finds an echo in the camphoraceous tonalities of incense and patchouli, and in the sharpness of ginger.

What the label declares

The declared bergamot peel oil corresponds to the bergamot in the top notes, and linalyl acetate is one of the major constituents of this citrus, as is limonene. Pogostemon cablin oil is patchouli essence. Coumarin, a sweet hay scent, is found in tonka bean; benzyl benzoate carries a discreet balsamic note.
