The lovely house of Prada entered perfumery in 2003 with its Essences Exclusives distributed in limited editions, then in 2004 with Amber pour Femme under the aegis of the fantastic designer Miuccia Prada.

Indeed, with Candy, Daniela Andrier, the house's dedicated perfumer, sought to offer a gourmand character that was certainly elegant and refined, in keeping with Prada's haute couture creations.

The composition of Candy, between the elegance of precious iris and the strength of benzoin, caramel and heliotrope, would quickly win over Prada women, prompting Daniela Andrier and Miuccia Prada to compose new olfactory chapters to this gourmand fragrance.
As a result, Candy L'Eau was released in 2013 to bring a fresh face to the whole through intense citrus accords. Candy Floral was released in 2014 with a peony more opulent and delicate than ever. Then Candy Kiss played on sun-kissed flowers to bewitch with Candy's gourmand character, while Candy Gloss in 2017 and Candy Sugar Pop in 2018 both accentuated the depths of vanilla-caramel with fruity tonalities of cherry for the former, and peach and apple for the latter. The strength of Daniela Andrier's composition for Candy lies of course in the meeting of iris flower, the perfumer's favorite raw material and a great classic of perfumery, with ultra-modern vanilla and caramel scents. For Candy Night, however, she chose once again to set aside the beautiful iris in favor of citrus notes, which in turn confront the immediate gourmand character of chocolate and caramel.
Candy Night was therefore built on an intense opposition between freshness and gourmand sensuality, a freshness symbolized of course by the opening, composed with notes of orange essence that are both highly energetic and sun-kissed. Then, diving into the heart, one encounters the strength of chocolate paired with the Candy range's signature notes of caramel and vanilla. Finally, the depths of this beautiful gourmand, marked by the presence of white musks, offer an enveloping tenderness to this bittersweet perfumed chocolate.
