Tanghulu

Tanghulu is a shared fragrance by Alendor Perfumes, announced for 2026 and signed by Marine Ipert. Classified as woody, floral and aromatic, the accord pairs black pepper in the top with caramel and lily of the valley in the heart, and vetiver, patchouli, gurjun balsam and tonka bean in the base. The concentration, size and release date remain unknown.

Top notes

Black pepper occupies the opening of Tanghulu. Placed in the top, it gives the opening a spicy, dry note, in keeping with the aromatic classification of the composition. No citrus nor any herb accompanies the opening in the announced notes.

Heart notes

Caramel and lily of the valley form the heart of Tanghulu. The pairing brings together a gourmand note with a spring flower and underpins the floral classification of the accord. Caramel does not, however, appear among the families retained, which mention no gourmand facet.

Base notes

The base brings together vetiver, patchouli, gurjun balsam and tonka bean. Vetiver and patchouli support the woody classification of the composition; gurjun balsam contributes a balsamic facet, and tonka bean an amber sweetness.
