Oud & Roses Auric is a unisex extrait de parfum from Ahmed Al Maghribi, released in 2026, ten years after Oud & Roses, whose story it carries on. Orange, cardamom, pepper, saffron and leather open it; rose, immortelle, heliotrope and iris form its heart, over a base of vanilla, patchouli, musk, incense and oud.
Oud & Roses Auric opens on a bright orange, warmed by cardamom, pepper and saffron. The house adds a touch of leather that it calls unexpected, which straight away gives Auric a darker turn than a simple rose and oud accord.
Heart
The heart pairs rose, in the form of an oil and of an accord specific to the house, with Balkan immortelle absolute, heliotrope and iris. Heliotrope and iris bring a powdery facet, immortelle a honeyed note.
Base
Vanilla, patchouli, musk and the house’s incense form the base, enriched with its oud accord. This accord gives the composition its woody, smoky character, while vanilla softens it.
What stays outside
Aldehydes, elemi and ambroxan, sometimes associated with Auric in abridged lists, do not appear in the composition published by the house. Ahmed Al Maghribi does not detail the content of its rose and oud accords.
