Maninka

Maninka is a fruit that comes from South Africa (specifically from the northeastern part of the country). It is along the Zambezi River that maninka is found in the greatest abundance. This fruit comes from the fried egg tree, also known as the wild plum bush or Oncoba Spinosa. This tree is generally small to medium in size, not exceeding 5 meters in height. Its petals are white and its center is bright yellow. Visually, the flower truly resembles a fried egg, hence the name fried egg tree. Oncoba Spinosa blooms from September to January.
