Almond milk

Made from crushed almonds, almond milk has become a genuine alternative to cow's milk, not only because it is tastier, but mainly because it contains neither gluten nor lactose. The sweet, smooth scent of almond milk was already familiar to the general public, since it is incorporated into many shower gels, bubble baths and soaps. Today, almond milk is taking its talents further, as it is now found in major perfumes. Both gourmand and sweet, almond milk is above all creamy. The sugary flavor of almond inevitably brings back childhood memories, in the same way as madeleine. Almond milk and its pairing with olfactory families

At present, almond milk is found mainly in oriental perfumes, such as Catch Me by Cacharel (oriental-woody), where almond milk sits as a heart note alongside orange blossom. Almond milk is also present in Elle L'Aime by Lolita Lempicka (oriental-floral). Here, almond milk is found as a base note alongside sandalwood for an ultra-enveloping base. Another oriental-floral featuring almond milk is Ryoko by Kenzo. There, almond milk takes its place as a heart note alongside violet and mimosa. Almond milk is still little used, and its full potential has not yet been entirely developed. Nevertheless, it offers lovely gourmand, sugary notes that should soon attract new noses.
