Vincent Ricord

Born in 1980 into a family of Grasse perfumers and raised in Nice, Vincent Ricord learned the craft over fifteen years at Expressions Parfumées. After a stint at CPL Aromas, he joined TechnicoFlor in 2023 as senior perfumer. He is behind Eau d'Ikar (2011) and L'Eau Rêvée d'Ikar (2023) for Sisley, and fragrances for Lalique and Parfums d'Orsay.

Grasse, Nice, Paris

From a family of Grasse perfumers, Vincent Ricord grew up in Nice before settling in Paris. His father, he says, prepared racing cars, another craft of assembly. He joined Expressions Parfumées as an intern at 19 for a few weeks, stayed fifteen years and discovered every trade of a fragrance house.

He joined CPL Aromas as senior perfumer in 2020, for France, the United Kingdom and Dubai, and in 2023 TechnicoFlor, a fragrance house in Allauch, drawn by its family spirit and its eco-responsible commitment. “You can't create a perfume if you don't dream it,” he says.

Sisley and Recent Creations

For Sisley, he created Eau d'Ikar in 2011 and L'Eau Rêvée d'Ikar in 2023. He names the latter among the creations that move him, for the freshness of mastic leaf, the bitterness of bitter orange and the sensuality of the woods.

He also works for Lalique, Parfums d'Orsay and Haute Fragrance Company, created Escapade Gourmande for Maison Mataha and, in 2026, Souverain and Offline for Bêtenoir and Lead for CZAR, with Bertrand Duchaufour. For Parfums d'Orsay, he created V.H Te Dire Oui in 2022, and he has taught at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris.
