Raphaël Haury
When one is born in the Grasse region, it seems almost impossible to escape one's destiny. Indeed, countless people who grew up in this Provençal town have gone on to join the perfume industry. It must be said that this place has been considered the world capital of perfume since the 16th century. From then on, Raphaël Haury did not escape this path, which seemed for him already laid out.
Raphaël Haury, from first steps to independence
Raphaël Haury was born in 1974, in Grasse. What is more, he is the son of a perfumer. Thus, it was quite naturally that he too chose the path of perfumery. In order to enter a higher school of perfumery, he first studied chemistry at the University of Nice. He then completed this training with a second course at the Charabot school of perfumery, in Grasse. Once he had obtained his diploma, in 1998, he joined the house's creative team in Paris. From then on, he benefited from the renown of this large group and began collaborating with the greatest creative brands. His first major fragrance was born barely two years later, in 2000. This was Chaumet Homme. A true jack-of-all-trades, Raphaël Haury then expressed the need to explore every facet of perfumery. Thus, he contributed to the creation of genuine best-sellers as well as more discreet fragrances. We owe to him in particular the fragrances Par Amour by Clarins, Agua Verde by Salvador Dali, Eau de Femme by Sonia Rykiel, Paradiso Uomo by Benetton, and the iconic Eau Ensoleillante by Clarins. It was then in 2007 that he decided to found his own company, Perfum.com. From then on, this opened a new page in his history as a perfumer.
The Perfum.com company
If Raphaël Haury decided to found his own company, it was above all to have total freedom of expression. Thus, he now chooses in complete autonomy his raw materials, his clients and the way in which he wishes to respond to their requests. Perfum.com is a young, dynamic company already highly regarded for the quality of its raw materials. Raphaël Haury wanted his company to be a human-scale business, allowing him more flexibility in its organization. As a result, he feels closer to and more attentive to his clients. He creates for them bespoke fragrances intended exclusively for fine perfumery. All of his company's creations are the subject of unique and targeted development. What is more, each of his formulas can be reworked according to his clients' wishes but also according to the legislative constraints in force. Raphaël Haury's company is still fairly recent when one considers the extraordinary longevity of certain companies in the perfume industry. Nevertheless, it seems to be forging an absolutely royal path, strewn with stars.
