A men’s Eau de Parfum from Rayhaan, Pacific Aura belongs to the house’s Aqua collection. Citron, mint, orange, lemon, black currant and coriander open onto a heart of apricot, basil, carrot seeds and May rose; fig, dates and ambrette make up the base. Its blue glass bottle lightens to turquoise toward the base.
Rayhaan spreads the notes of Pacific Aura across three tiers. The top brings together citron, mint, orange, lemon, black currant and coriander: lively citrus, a minty freshness, the fruity touch of black currant and the light spice of coriander.
The heart combines apricot, basil, carrot seeds and May rose. Fig, dates and ambrette, a seed with a musky scent, form the base and give the fragrance a soft, fruity foundation.
Two presentations
Another presentation of the fragrance, used in the United Kingdom, adds mandarin and bergamot at the top and drops orange and lemon. It limits the heart to basil, rose and carrot seed, and ends on amber, fig and ambroxan.
Its classification among marine fragrances follows the Aqua collection in which the house places it, alongside its other fresh compositions. Yet no marine note is named: the freshness comes from citrus, mint and basil.
