Miel & Citron is an eau de toilette by L’Occitane, introduced by Now Smell This in October 2007 as the house’s latest release, in a 100 ml bottle. As its name says, it pairs honey and lemon; Robin describes soft honey and candied, pleasantly tart lemon over a base of vanilla and patchouli, and counts it among light gourmands, neither too sweet nor heavy.
The name announces the two materials L’Occitane puts forward, honey and lemon. The notes retained place lemon at the top and honey in the base, in an eau de toilette of gourmand register.
Robin, on Now Smell This, also notes vanilla and patchouli, which give the fragrance most of its character; lemon, in her view, leaves only a trace beyond the top notes.
Bergamot, orange, and beeswax, cited by older descriptions, remain outside the notes retained, as do vanilla and patchouli.
