La Nuit Tombée is a unisex eau de parfum by Serge Lutens, added to the Collection noire in 2026. The house calls it timeless, chypre and secret: a chypre that dares not speak its name, smoked with olibanum incense, patchouli and cedar, three essences set at the top, heart and base, in the collection’s straight, sober bottle.

The bottle follows the line of the Collection noire, which Serge Lutens wanted in his own image: minimalist, straight, angular and uncompromising. The house sees in it a sobriety that serves the richness of the fragrances inside.
Angélina, of the blog Ambiance & Fragrance, describes thick transparent glass, a glossy black cabochon and, at the center, a black plaque bearing the name of the house and of the fragrance. The liquid, a deep brown, shows through the glass.
