Flying Ointment is a unisex eau de parfum by Heretic Parfum, released in 2026 in a first batch of 500 numbered 100 ml bottles, sold for $350. Drawn from a house balm inspired by the flying ointments of folklore, it brings together mitti attar, guaiac wood, vetiver, patchouli, oakmoss, incense, seaweed, angelica root, cedar and clove.

Each 100 ml bottle in the first batch bears a label hand-traced by a master calligrapher and numbered from 1 to 500. The house notes that no two labels are quite alike.
The fragrance is blended, poured and bottled by hand. The bottle arrives sealed in its box with a 2 ml sample, to try the fragrance before opening the packaging, a condition for its return within thirty days.
