Buona Fortuna

Buona Fortuna is a unisex fragrance that Granado launches in October 2026 for the year-end holidays, as a limited edition of 10,000 numbered bottles. The Brazilian house classes it among the amber citrus scents: rum, mandarin and fig at the top, davana, peach and carrot seed at the heart, tonka bean, vanilla and amber at the base.

Granado classes Buona Fortuna among the amber citrus scents and divides its pyramid into three tiers of three notes. Rum, mandarin and fig form the top, davana, peach and carrot seed the heart, tonka bean, vanilla and amber the base.

From rum to vanilla

To sum up the fragrance, the house keeps only one note per tier: rum, peach and vanilla. Rum opens the composition alongside mandarin, the citrus fruit that justifies the citrus classification, and fig.

Davana, a mugwort from India with fruity, liqueur-like accents, accompanies the peach and the carrot seed. Tonka bean, vanilla and amber form a sweet base, which carries the amber side of the family the house declares.

What the label declares

Alcohol, fragrance and water open the list, with limonene first among the allergens. Next come tetramethyl acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, an ambery woody material, and hexamethylindanopyran, a musk, ahead of three UV filters and a stabilizer, tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) citrate.

Two colorants, red CI 14700 and violet CI 60730, tint the juice. Vanillin, coumarin, cinnamyl alcohol, linalool and rose ketones appear further down; geranyl acetate closes the list.
