Freedom Musk Matcha 45 is a unisex eau de parfum launched on November 18, 2025 in Kayali's Freedom collection. Composed by Alexis Grugeon (Givaudan), it is described as a second-skin fragrance, fresh and intimate, reimagining the comfort of a morning matcha latte into an accord of green tea, milk and soft musk. Its number reflects the number of formulation trials.
Yerba mate, evoking hay and tobacco, sits alongside bergamot, fruity and sweet, in the top notes: the dry hay of the yerba mate contrasts with the rounded sugar of the bergamot.
Vanilla, spicy and warm, accompanies praline, toasted and almondy, in the heart: the warmth of one meets the toastiness of the other on a shared gourmand base.
Sandalwood, woody and velvety, blends with musk, woody and animalic, in the base: the two raw materials meet on the wood, the velvety quality of the sandalwood contrasting with the animalic quality of the musk.
