Fico di Amalfi La Riserva

Fico di Amalfi La Riserva was released in 2025, an eau de parfum drawn from the Fico di Amalfi of the Blu Mediterraneo line. Acqua di Parma classifies it as citrus green and states it was born of a two-month maceration: top notes of mandarin, blood orange, grapefruit and lemon, a heart of iris and fig, a base of tonka bean.

Mandarin, blood orange, grapefruit, lemon

The opening brings together four citrus essences, Italian for the mandarin and the blood orange according to the house. The grapefruit carries the bitterness, the lemon the sharp acidity from which the Amalfi coast draws its image.

Iris and fig

The heart pairs a concentrate of iris, powdery and rooty, with an infusion of fig and lemon, completed by a fig pulp accord. Acqua di Parma emphasizes the pulp, whose rich aroma it says it sought.

Tonka bean, ambrettolide, orcanox

The base rests on tonka bean absolute, a scent of hay and almond, and on two synthetic molecules. Ambrettolide is a macrocyclic musk found in ambrette seed; orcanox carries a dry, mineral amber woody note.

What the label declares

The label declares coumarin, which signs the tonka bean, and alpha-isomethyl ionone, a powdery violet that extends the iris. Amyl cinnamal adds a sweet jasmine, isoeugenol a clove that the announced accord omits.

Limonene, linalool, citral, citronellol and geraniol carry the citrus and floral share. Hydroxycitronellal, a fresh lily of the valley, completes the list without appearing in the announced composition.
